LYC took part in the local league
A total of 23 lyc members took part in the league this season. We were able to field a full team at every match and did not incur any absentee penalties as we regularly did in the past. A total of 18 matches were played across two divisions (the 6 player division, and the 4 player division). We finished in 5th position in the 6s division where we took the opportunity to give a wider variety of players a chance to participate and gain experience. We were exceptionally competitive in the 4s division, finishing 2nd and barely missing out on winning the championship from the tie breaker by a single point. We still did extremely well overall winning more than 60% of the matches.
Most importantly we had some great fun, and competitive games showing proudly LYC out to the wider London audience and making friends with other clubs. It has contributed positively to gaining high level competitive experience for many players.
